The “San Francisco” Sewing Workshop was born from the hope and determination of the women from the Saladillo Norte neighborhood, from their wish to succeed and grow thanks to an attitude of continuous learning and dignifying work.
The goal of the project is to launch and develop a stable source of work in the area, which could also result in the creation of other sources of work as well, like the Serigraphy Educative Workshop for Youth. The project should also strengthen social relationships and improve the quality of life of families in the Saladillo Norte community.

The brand chosen to identify the products carries the very meaningful name of “Nuestras Manos” (Our Hands), which conveys the idea of hands helping each other in a collaborative process of joint growth, so as to assist these families in moving forward as a group.

ConceptWizz and its people learned about the project and helped us develop a visual identity for “Our Hands”. By means of words and images they learned about the characteristics of the work and its actors, about the goals of the project and the wishes of their participants. The brand developed would communicate the very essence of the workshop. Some specific concepts were emphasized, like growth, learning and the idea of a community.

With the hope of sharing the creative process within the group of people, the women in the workshop decided on the colors of the sign. They chose purple—the color that represents the feminine—and green, which represents nature.
